Morten Ulstein has extensive experience from ship construction and engineering, besides founding the Island Offshore Group. His educational background is from maritime engineering and has in recent years been managing the family's investment companies. Lars H. Kyrkjebø retired from the Board of Directors after reaching the maximum 10 years of service. Aksel Mjøs was elected Deputy Chairman for a period of one year.
