Sponsorship

Norwegian Hull Club primarily supports cultural and maritime related organisations. As of 2011, these are our main sponsorships:

Bergen International Festival

Bergen International Festival (Festspillene i Bergen) is an annual international music and cultural festival in Bergen, Norway. The festival is the largest in the Nordic countries in its genre and has a large number of activities in music, dance, literature, visual arts, folklore etc. The festival is held over fourteen days from the end of May to the start of June and is located in numerous places like the Grieg Hall, Haakon's Hall, Troldhaugen, Lysøen, Siljustøl as well as streets and town squares of Bergen.

Through our sponsorship of Bergen International Festival, we support an event that combines tradition and innovation, both ideals that Norwegian Hull Club values highly.

Statsraad Lehmkuhl Foundation

The foundation works for the maintenance and preservation of the ship "Statsraad Lehmkuhl" for future generations, and provides employment that is in accordance with her traditions, including maritime training. The foundation is located in Bergen harbour and also manages the friendship association (Statsraad Lehmkuhls Venner). The administration manages all facets of the operation and preservation of the «Statsraad Lehmkuhl». The ship has a complement of 22 persons during the sailing season; a figure that is reduced during the winter seas

Bergen Maritime Museum

The museum  in Bergen presents the history of shipping, its development and importance to Bergen and Norway in past and present.
