Norwegian Hull Club representatives will participate at the TradeWinds Marine Risk Forum in Hamburg, which this year has put the question "When will the storm pass?" on the agenda.
The 4th Forum in the series takes place at a time of unprecedented challenges and changes for ship owners and their insurers. Spanning two days, the Forum tackles the hot topics for both H&M and P&I and will look in detail at the issues and controversy surrounding valuations, slow steaming, the explosion in FD&D claims, bring new thinking on Loss of Hire and examine whether the insurance industry is doing enough for ship owners in the current climate.
"Germany is an important market to us, and it goes without saying that we are present at this event", says Arne Birkeland, COO of Norwegian Hull Club. He will attend the Marine Risk Forum together with colleagues from the Underwriting and Legal departments. "In addition to participating for the sake of meeting up with our German friends and business associates, the agenda is of great interest to us, as it is for all parties of the maritime cluster. Our industry has faced tremendous challenges over the last two years, and to gather and discuss these challenges in such an interesting forum, is something we are looking forward to", concludes Birkeland.
